We have great news! Within the frameworks of ICAD Foundation and Pro Motion Georgia - პრო მოციონ ჯორჯია project “Support to the local administration of Megrelia and Racha regions towards realization of regional tourism promotion. Exchange of experience with Imeretia Region” which was co-financed by the Polish development cooperation programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland a new tourist folder was released.
It contains information about three regions of Western Georgia – Imereti, Samegrelo and racha. The folder was printed by Stagi Group • სტაგი ჯგუფი, we thank them for cooperation.
The new folder is the result of our two-year hard work, including traveling, searching and marking new mountain trails, trips to various parts of the region - from trekking in the river valleys to climbing 3000 m high Caucasus mountains. The best part of our work has always been and will be people we met during our project, who were actively involved in the project, worked hard to create a cozy atmosphere to host guests in their homes. Our work can be appreciated by reading our folder which contains a lot of useful travel information, history of the regions, interesting trails and of course history of great people.
We have already brought the folders to the Kutaisi City Administration and Tourist Information Center, also to the administrations of Oni and Martvili towns. Several copies were left also in the Department of Monument Protection of Terjola, thanks to our friend Giga Kublashvili.
The day was really tense - after the visit to Oni, pre-scheduled meetings were held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Tourism of Georgia, where we were warmly welcomed and promised some help with promotion of materials in several mainc tourist destinations.
The most important is that it’s not the end. Promotion continues- from 18th to 28th October we will be in Poland and apart from the Warsaw Tourism Fair, we invite you to meetings with our team in Warsaw, Poznan and Czarnkow, where we will talk about our project, the work we’ve done and of course about Georgia.

We are also reminding you that new websites promoting Oni (Racha) and Martvili (Megrelia) are coming soon, so stay updated with us! :)
